It's time to take a look at our favorite free applications that make working and living a lot easier in Android phones. To install any of these applications, open the Android Market on your phone and search for the app by name or use Barcode Scanner.

1. Barcode Scanner

Barcode Scanner is a very useful application which allows you to scan both 1D and QR codes to look up for applications, products and other important information.

2. Shazam

Shazam is one of the top apps in the Android Market. Shazam identifies songs you hear on the radio or elsewhere. 3. Google Goggles

Google Goggles is an application for Android phones which allows users to google about a particular object by merely pointing the phone's camera at it. Goggles, still in the early stages is yet another innovation from the Google. It's available only for devices running Android 1.6 and above.

10. My Tracks

My Tracks is an application for your Android devices that enables you to record GPS tracks and view live statistics (such as time, speed, distance, and elevation). Once recorded, you can share your tracks, upload them to Google Spreadsheets and visualize them on Google My Maps.
